About Pyramid Dev
A software company that chose one industry.
Pyramid Dev was founded in Prishtinë in August 2020. Since then we have built one thing: medical software. Codon, our product family, runs in laboratories, hospitals, clinics and pathology laboratories, and connects the devices they use. We are a small team by design: engineers who visit the laboratory before they write the first line.
The company
Five years, one patient file.
We started as a general software house and, project by project, ended up in healthcare: first a laboratory registry, then the analyzers, then the whole institution, then the pathology laboratory. Codon is the result: a family of four products. Codon LIS for laboratories, Codon HIS for hospitals and clinics, Codon Pathology for pathology laboratories and Codon Migration for the data institutions already have. Today Codon runs in 82 institutions, holds 1.4 million patient records and 800,000 registered diagnoses, and serves around 5,000 patients every day. It is sold directly and through the IPKO Business catalogue.
Everything we build follows the same rule: a result must never be typed twice. That is why we invest in integrations, ASTM, HL7 v2, MQTT, fiscal devices, and why our engineers know what a delta check or a reference range by age is.
The team works from our office in Prishtinë and supports customers in Albanian and English. We do not publish names and photos here; you meet the people who will implement your system in the first analysis meeting.
