Bidirectional over ASTM E1381/E1394 and HL7 v2.x. Orders go to the analyzer, results come back with flags. Send us your device list and we confirm every model.
Monitoring and IoT devices
Devices without a standard interface are bridged with MQTT or a small gateway, so their readings land in the patient file.
Fiscal printer and card terminal
Receipts printed on the fiscal device, card payments confirmed at the desk, all recorded against the visit.
SMS, e-mail and third-party systems
Notifications to patients, reports to referring doctors, HL7 or REST interfaces for insurers and other systems.

Patient data is encrypted at rest and on every connection between the browser, the analyzers and the server.

Data lives in the cloud rather than on a PC under the reception desk, and backups are mirrored so a single failure never means data loss.

Every user sees only what their role allows, and every record keeps who created it, who changed it and who viewed it. The clinician's work is auditable.

Which analyzers can Codon connect to?
Any analyzer that speaks ASTM E1381/E1394 or HL7 v2.x, which covers the common biochemistry, haematology, immunology and urine analyzers. Send us your device list and we confirm each model before you sign.
How long does an implementation take?
It depends on the number of modules, locations and analyzers. We agree the timeline in the first analysis meeting and run the go-live in stages, starting with registration and the laboratory.
Do we lose our existing data?
No. Migration of your existing data from any previous system is included in the Codon subscription.
Where is the data hosted and who can access it?
Data is hosted in the cloud, encrypted at rest and in transit, with mirrored backups. Access is controlled by your own administrator through dynamic user rights. Ask us for the security sheet.
Can we buy Codon through IPKO?
Yes. Codon is also available through the IPKO Business catalogue. Implementation and support are done by the Pyramid Dev team in Prishtinë either way.
