Laboratory and clinic on one patient file, in two locations
ElitaPlus, a medical laboratory and clinic in Prishtinë since 2003, runs its two locations, Dardani and Ulpianë, on Codon: the laboratory with more than 500 tests on Codon LIS, the visits and the endocrinology diagnostics on the clinic side, one registry for both.
The problem
ElitaPlus grew from a laboratory into a laboratory, a clinic and an endocrinology diagnostic centre: a catalogue of more than 500 routine and specialised tests, two locations in Prishtinë, more than 100,000 patients and over a million medical reports issued. A patient who gives blood in Ulpianë and sees the doctor in Dardani expects one file, one report and one receipt.
What we built
- Codon LIS for the biochemistry and microbiology laboratory: barcode at registration, analyzers connected, reference ranges applied, verification before release.
- One patient registry for Dardani and Ulpianë, with the full history of results available in both locations.
- Clinic module for appointments and visits, with the laboratory results in the same screen as the visit.
- Payments with fiscal receipts and consolidated reporting for the two locations.
